Tourist Group
What a blessing. We just had a wonderful group of tourist from San Angelo, Texas. Not only was it nice to see familiar faces and long time friends, but they brought all kinds of care packages with them. On the day they arrived, we left for an adventure tour and had a wonderful time. We dropped 4 packages at our house for the Angie and the kids to go through while I took the team to some islands. Since the team just left this morning, I have yet had time to really look at all that was brought by them, but I do know that Kyndal told me we got 26 boxes of mac and cheese. Maybe I can get Angie to help me make a list that we can post of all the cool things you sent to us. I know she had to go get some bins to store all the food items. I am afraid to say thanks to any individuals as I know for sure I would leave someone out. Let me say, you all are amazing!I feel like I have a lot to post now, and will spend the next several days telling you about the group that was here and all about our adventure. I’ll do my best to keep up with the blog. Before I let you go though, I have to tell you a quick little story. As I was writing this blog update, I heard Kyndal scream from the bathroom. She was taking a shower while Angie was doing the dishes and a quick load of laundry. As Angie drained our manual washing machine, it caused some air to come up the drain where Kyndal was taking a shower. Kyndal was screaming, “Mom, come here! MOM! MOM!” It became more emphatic with each call. I put the computer down and ran into the bathroom and Kyndal had ran out of the shower and was almost crying and said, “Dad what’s in there?” She pointed at the drain and the drain was lifting a little and was making a funny noise. She was convinced that something was in the drain and it was coming to get her. I assured her that it was just the drain and that that happens some times. She said, “Well it was growling at me and it scared me.” Well I thought it was funny and you might enjoy a Kyndal story.Ok, for sure more tomorrow. PS – for those of you waiting on your friends and family to return home, they left this morning and were headed to Dubai and I think they were going to the Mall of the Emirates to do some snow skiing. Thanks for letting me have them for a few days…. they blessed us beyond imagination.
