Vacation Day 4
It was a cool night. I think the temperature was in the mid 40s. Im not complaining, although I did have to pull another blanket on top of me last night. We stayed in Eagle Nest RV Park. They have clean showers, bathrooms and a laundromat. The staff is very friendly. We have a great view of the lake and the mountains.nn___A_OPEN___a href=”http://www.bobbycox.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/IMG_3052.png”___nn nn___A_OPEN___a href=”http://www.bobbycox.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/IMG_0321.png”___nn___A_OPEN___a href=”http://www.bobbycox.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/IMG_3066.png”___nnWe ate lunch in Eagle’s Nest and then remembered why we bought all those groceries and planned to cook our own meals. It was a little bit pricey. We decided to spend the afternoon scouting out the area, looking for hiking trails, and biking trails. We drove through the mountains stopping periodically to take pictures.nn___A_OPEN___a href=”http://www.bobbycox.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/IMG_0307.png”___nnWe found a nice shady place and took some pics of the stream and the family.nn___A_OPEN___a href=”http://www.bobbycox.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/IMG_3046.png”___nnWhen we got back to camp, we went on a short bike ride and threw the football and jumped rope. We don’t want Braden to forget how to catch… and besides… its just fun. I (Bobby) hold the jump rope record. Dinner was probably the best we have had the whole time. Angie cooked Fajitas. YUM!nn___A_OPEN___a href=”http://www.bobbycox.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/IMG_0326.png”___nnWe finished off the evening with a game of Scrutineyes. Dad and Kyndal won, but not before a playoff round. Braden and Angie put up a good fight.
