License is Granted

I stayed out really late last night visiting with one of my friends. He took me on a tour of the main island on his motor bike and then we took a water taxi to another island. We spent a lot of time talking. We stayed out so late that I overslept this morning. I was awaken by my phone. It was the Department of Trade letting me know that my travel business is officially registered here. I popped out of bed, got a shower and went and picked up the coveted document. I had a few other things to do and then I met the family back at the hotel to get them on the water taxi to our island. Our friends gave us an electronic fly swatter. It is really cool. You load it with batteries, wave it around and… zap! It is so much fun and it works on mosquitoes too. Now we fight over the zapper. I tried to challenge Braden in a contest to see who can zap the most flies and mosquitoes, but he thinks there is no way he can beat me…. he is probably right as I feel a bit of revenge every time I hear the zapper zap.My first package from UPS FINALLY ARRIVED! The package was my new credit cards. I had to pick them up from the main island. I have received them and activated them. We are back in business.Well if there is a normal, we are close to being back to it. We are back sweating in our house. Angie is feeling much better. We went for another blood test today and will know the results tomorrow. I am still trying to help her with the household chores as she gets tires very easy. We should have internet connection at our flat in a couple of days. However, about the time we get the connection, we will be leaving the country for a couple of days or so. We have to leave the country and come back in on our permanent visas. This is good news because I do not have to pay for an extension on my tourist visas. There is a big meeting in Thailand and we are going to try to get in on the meeting. Several of our new friends will be there. We are not officially invited to the meeting yet, so we have to wait to see if we can get in. If so, we can kill two birds with one stone… get out of the country and meet with some partners all at the same time.I have had several requests for posts from Braden and Kyndal, but they seem reluctant to sit still long enough for Daddy to type what they say. I will keep trying and maybe they will have some short posts in a day or so.I still have several small things to do to get the work permit and visas complete, so I will be doing this in the next couple of days. The hard part is over. We have approval, now we just need to jump through a few more hoops.
