Becky’s Last Entry
This should be my last entry. My brother, in his high feverish, very sick state, has managed to find a way to hook up to the internet through the hospital phone line. Go figure! If you know Bobby well at all, you are not surprised by this. He granted me one more post and then said he felt like he could take over the next one. I’m sure you’ll all be more than relieved to hear his “cyber” voice. Here is a quote from him regarding the hospital:”We are still in the smaller hospital. The hospital we are in is a government hospital and does not have as good of reputation as the private hospital on the main island. However, don’t let reputation fool you. They are very kind and hospitable and seem to be doing everything they can to help me manage my fever.”Everything else he described to me (I won’t give you all the details) sound like complications from the dehydration as well as the fever. He has been in incredible pain. He said his fever was 102 – 103 until about 3:30 in the morning, his time. It’s now our morning and creeping up on his night time. It sounds like the nights are harder on him, both physically and emotionally. So please be in prayer for a restful night’s sleep and God’s continued provision of peace, comfort and love.Don’t be discouraged, he still threw in some “funnies” in his e-mail; which made me laugh. But he also brought me to tears, too. So, as his night begins, let’s cover him, Angie and the children in prayer.Thank you for keeping up with them and allowing me to temporarily serve as their voice. In case you aren’t aware, I’m incredibly proud of my family and love them so much. I only hope that each of you that have a sibling have found the kind of special relationship that I have in mine. My brother isn’t just my brother, he’s my friend. For that, I am forever blessed.~Becky
