13th Poke

They moved my iv to my left hand today. Due to the high fever and dehydration, they have had trouble finding my veins. All together (including taking blood for blood tests) they have stuck me 13 times. I fully expect #14 in the morning for another blood test. I am feeling better, but I am not eating. I drink about 3 liters per day. I had a decent night last night. My fever went down and at 4:30am they pulled the iv. By 6:00am my fever was going back up so they started the iv again. They continue to give me medicine for my fever, body ache and stomach. My platelet count has dropped from 171,000 to 151,000. This is not too bad. They will not be able to test for dengue until tomorrow or the next day.My sister has kept up the blog for us. She would communicate with Ang on the phone and then update the blog.
