1st Day of School
It was like Christmas eve around here last night. Both kids came to our room about 11PM saying they couldn't go to sleep. Braden gets nervous and Kyndal was so excited. It really is cool to have kids with completely different personalities. The first day of school always brings up strange emotions… today… my emotion is pure joy. I am excited for the opportunities for my kids, normality of our schedule and gratitude that I'm not the one in the 7th grade.
So the kids were up early the morning. Their mother prepared eggs and toast for breakfast and off they went. I played my part too and snapped a few pics.
So as I am updating this blog, Angie is at school with the kids. Kyndal's schedule included and hour and half of Quran reciting this morning. Not really why we send our kids to school, so Angie is spending time with her in the library. She just sent me a text message that read…”Kyndal's already got a new best friend, but cant remember her name.” That is so Kyndal.
Thanks for reading. I'll have one of the kids blog about their day a little later.
