UFO
Ok, its been two weeks since I have posted here. I think I have bloggers block. ha ha. Well, I thought I would write about the UFO we saw last night. Things are always exciting around here.
Last night we were sitting together in the sitting room playing some family games when all of a sudden and Unidentified Flying Object came whizzing through the room and into mine and Angie’s bedroom. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a bird or a bat. It’s getting close to June, but we don’t have June bugs here. No crickets, locust or other flying insects. Pretty much all we have here that fly are mosquitos, bats, crows and roaches. Since we are pretty sure it wasn’t a bat or a crow… it was too small. And we are pretty sure it wasn’t a mosquito… it was too big (although we do have some pretty nice sized mosquitos) we are pretty sure it was a flying roach. Kyndal screamed, Braden grabbed a shoe, Angie said, “That didnt just happen!” I grabbed the fly swatter and headed to the dark bedroom to hunt down the perpetrator. Armed with a flashlight in one hand and a fly swatter in the other, I looked like a scene from CSI. I looked through the clean clothes on the bed that needed to be folded, under the bed, on the curtains (they love hanging out on the curtains) behind the wardrobe, in the bathroom, in the bed and on the floor. The UFO was gone.
This morning we called the local newspaper to tell them about the UFO. Braden was quoted in wonderful Oklahoma fashion saying, “It flew right near me and blasted our TV with its laser eyes.
Kyndal was quoted as saying, “I dont know how my mom and dad slept in the room last night. That thing was huge.” Angie was quoted as Texan saying, “It picked me up with it’s man-powers and shook me like a dawg.”
Bobby was quoted as saying, “Watch out there’s a nasty bug going around.”
Ok, well we were not really interviewed, but the rest of the story is true. We never found the culprit.
