Lily

Lily was Kyndal’s collie. Both Braden and Kyndal got collies for Christmas in 2005. When we moved to the islands in June, we couldn’t take Luke and Lily with us so we had to leave them here with family. Luke stays with Angie’s parents and Lily stayed with my parents until they found a better home for her. This afternoon, we went to visit Lily at her new home. It was fun to see Kyndal love on her. Her new owner is so nice and offered to let us come see her again anytime. We enjoyed meeting the owner and felt like we made a new friend while two old friends (Kyndal and Lily) laid around on the floor looking at each other. When Kyndal was laying on or beside Lily, she was petting her. We got some pictures, traded email addresses and then it was time to say goodbye. All the girls were crying. It was sad to see Kyndal have to say goodbye again. Kyndal is such an animal lover. She would be a great veterinarian.

Our time in San Angelo is almost over. We bought trunks yesterday to pack our stuff for our return trip. We still have to go to Dallas and Tulsa again and we have one more week here. I guess we will spend this last week in San Angelo saying goodbye to friends and packing up the trunks for the overseas flights. Seems like my calendar is filling with meetings this week, so it will probably go by pretty fast. Our first meeting is tonight at my sister’s house. We are supposed to go over and watch a movie with her and her husband. The kids will be staying at my parents house since it will probably be a late night.

Those of you who are concerned about the 10 pounds I added, well I’ve just about lost them. It got to me, so I decided to start eating normal and running again. I’m down to 8 pounds and plan to get the last 2 this week.
