Fun Stuff
Ok, where do I begin. We are having so much fun it doesnt seem fair…. to you I mean. I could sum up our fun in three words, but since I am a man of many words, I choose to use them. So, the first word I will use is Wii. O-yeah, if dont have a Wii or dont know what one is, well you are just missing out. Check out the Wii. Perhaps those of you who have tennis courts, baseball fields, golf courses and bowling alleys in your backyard prefer the real thing, but can I just say, we have just opened up our very own ballpark, country club and bowling alley. Now we need a bigger living room. Kyndal rocks at bowling… not sure how this happens. She is just “willy nilly” with the little controller and gets a strike every time. Nobody has beaten me at baseball and I have the record for the most home runs. Braden was the first to master the 9th hole on the golf course, but now I have the record with just 2 over par (cut me some slack, I haven’t played golf in 2 1/2 years.) Well, Angie put down the dishrag and picked up the controller for the first time tonight… lets just say her little Mii character looks just like her and plays sports just like her too. We will let you guess on that one. Now you know why I didnt want to sum up our fun in just a few simple words.
Next bit of fun… Sling Box. O-my-goodness! Dont know what a sling box is? Check it out. No I am not getting paid to put links on my site (although I should), I’m just a raving fan. So if you didnt click on the sling box link, let me just tell you… I bought a sling box (a little box that connects the internet to my brother-in-law’s TV cable.) Uh, yeah, now I can control the channel from my computer and watch American TV. I hope to get a DVR soon, so I can record all the football and basketball games I have been missing. It was so nice. I just got through watching the Rangers play baseball… sadly they got beat, but it was still fun. I have to say I enjoyed watching the goofy local commercials and the “TEXAS DODGE” commercial. Hadn’t seen one of those in a while. Oh, the things we take for granted. I am just sad I am just now coming to the SlingBox knowledge. Way, cool.
I picked up the Wii while I was in Dubai this last week doing some marketing for our business here. I purchased the Sling Box a while back… it just took some time to get it all hooked up.
What else can I say? Oh-yeah, the kids are doing well in school and the beach is as cool as ever… and the sunsets… still my favorite.
