Good-byes

Good-byes are just no good. In the midst of packing all of our junk, we took time today to say a few good-byes. Our first good-bye today was to Lily. Lily was Kyndal's dog. Lily is in a wonderful home and is just beautiful. The lady that has her today is so kind to let us stay in touch and come over and love on Lily when we are in town. It was good to see her and I have to admit, I had a lump in my throat when we left.

We had to say good-bye to beef tonight too. We left Lilly's house and went to Logans. Oh it was good. Hope it lasts two years.

After dinner we said good-bye to my family. More tears. It was especially sad when Cam (my little nephew who is 3) cried and said, but I'm going to miss you. He was so cute and it made us all cry. He would not let go of Angie. We are not sure if understands just how long we will be gone, but he did understand we would be leaving and he would miss us. I like to make the good-byes fast and quick… you know like removing a band aid. Well, our good-byes were hardly that… they have lasted all week.

Our last good-bye was to Wal-mart. Yeah, who would have thought? Our bags were already packed way past the weight limit, but we went to Wal-mart to get just a few more things. Well, I gotta go load the truck. My dad is driving us to Dallas tomorrow… oh look at the time… he is driving us today. I better finish up and get some sleep. Good-bye!
