Happy Birthday Mom

Mom,

I spent a few minutes on the internet looking for a great e-card to send you. After several minutes of only finding really cheesy stuff, I decided my time would be better spent writing my personal birthday email. So, I am sorry you are not getting graphics, sound and beautiful poetry, but at least you know you get my thoughts and my love.

My top ten thoughts about me and mom.

10. I loved playing “curly hair”, and you grabbing us and pulling us over your shoulder when we were younger. 9. I loved that your spankings didn’t hurt all that much. 8. I love your cooking – especially your potato salad. 7. It has hurt me to see you sick and in the hospital year after year. 6. I am thankful that you taught me about Truth, faith and service. 5. I like it when I can make you laugh and smile. 4. I am grateful that you give unselfishly (including me and my family.) 3. I liked your peanut butter and honey sandwiches after an afternoon of swimming. 2. I am thankful that my parents are still together and divorce was never an option. Thanks for your commitment and example! 1. I like your voice. I miss not being able to hear it as often, but when I do, it brings peace in my heart and comfort for the moment.

Mom, I love you and wish you the best birthday ever.

Simply blessed,

Bobby
