Home Sweat Home

We made it! We arrived in our island home around 10:30 AM this morning. We left London last night at 6 PM. We were welcomed home by 100% humidity and direct sunlight. It wasn’t long before we were drenched with sweat but loving be home. We’ve roamed around the house like zombies today, vowing not to sleep until evening…. the quickest way to acclimate to the time change.

We have lots of work to do to get back in the swing of things. We have already seen a couple of friends and got some strange looks from islanders. They are giving us this look like…’I know I know you, but I don’t think I have seen you in a while.” I think the shop owners were happy to see us. We needed to restock our house with groceries.

Homeschool starts next week!!

As I’m writing this, I am sitting in my living room with the balcony door open. The cool eastern breeze is blowing off the ocean through the house. Man I missed this.
