Kyndal’s First Tooth Pull
We finally did it! We yanked Kyndal’s first tooth from her head tonight. We have been wiggling it for over a month now and the new tooth was pushing it out. With Lovie in hand, a few tears and dental floss, I helped her work it loose enough for her to pull it on her own. Well there is no sense in my trying to tell the story, why don’t you watch it for yourself. Take a look at the video. Click here! The video requires Windows Media Player to watch it. Now we will see if the Tooth Fairy can find South Asia.
We went to the main island today for some shopping and breakfast. There is this one store that has a lot of western stuff, but it is really expensive. We don’t get much stuff there, but every now and then we spring for a $7 bag of Tostitos especially since we have some Picante Sauce right now. Anyway, while we were in the store today a man must have heard me talking to Braden because he said to me, “Are you from America.” I looked at him and saw that he too could have been American. As it turns out, he is working for the American Red Cross here. We traded business cards and said we both would like to get to know each other. He made a small comment about a Thanksgiving dinner. Wow, wouldn’t that be great?
While we were hanging around the house this afternoon, some friends came to the door and we invited them in for a visit. They stayed until dinner and then we invited them for dinner. Busy day, but lots of fun.
It stopped raining today but the clouds are still around. It has been raining now for 4 days and off and on before that. Seems like the weather is really crazy right now. We do enjoy the nice cooler days.
Anyway Angie told me she made a list of all the goods, so I should be able to get that up tomorrow.
