Kyndals Thoughts

The following words are Kyndal's thoughts about her new school.. in her words. I am just the typist…

I made good friends and I have this club. The club is name Rock Angles. I didn't think of the name, my friends did. I'm learning a lot and its very fun. I am so excited that I got to, uh, see what public school is like. Every time either break or lunch my brother will stop by my class and say hello. My favorite teacher is named Mrs. Carolie, she is American, that is why I like her so much. She is my English teacher. The uniforms are so cool. Except the PE uniform has pants and the other uniform has shorts. It should be the other way around. Ah, I just got my locker today and some textbooks. My locker is outside the classroom. Except some kids have lockers inside the classroom. I have to take a boat to go to school. I guess you could say its a school boat. I also have to take a taxi that is about 10 minutes, maybe 5. Now I only get to go to the beach on Friday or Saturday because I don't have school. I get up at 6:00 am and get on the boat at 7:10am. I come home at 4:00pm. Sometimes I get tired in class, but I can manage. During Quran and Dhivehi class, I get to read my own books and draw. My favorite subject is English and Art. I'm taking French, Math, English, Social Science, Sports, Art, Arabic, and Music. Well, that's all, I gotta go.
