Late Night Service Call

As you know we have been having some Internet troubles. Well, the Internet connection in my office decided to not work anymore either. We have gone a couple days without it now. I have been going back to the cyber shop to get email. Anyway, on the funny part. The technician from the Internet provider called me at 10:45 PM and said they were ready to check/fix the connection problem. Angie looked at me like, “Where are you going?” when I got up to go to the office. I sat in my office for about an hour while they worked on it. They didn’t seem to get anywhere, so they said they were going back to the ISP office. I said, “fine, I’ll just wait here.“ At midnight, I decided to call them by using the caller ID on my phone. They said they had not figured it out yet. I told them I was going home and we could figure it out later. Well, when I got home, Angie was still up and we sat in our living room and talked for another 45min to an hour. (We do this a lot…. it’s pretty good for married people to do this.) Anyway, about 1:45 AM, they call me back. Angie and I both laughed out loud. They said they figured it out and needed back in my office. Since the ISP office is about a 15 minute walk, they showed up at 2 AM. We went to the office and they fixed the problem. I think this was the first 1:45 AM service call I have ever received, but we have Internet back in my office. Fun times.
