Malaysian Zoo
We are enjoying our time in Malaysia and thought we would take some time to walk through a zoo. Most of the people we asked about it, did not give it two thumbs up, but it was in our budget and everybody was in agreement. We took a taxi about 15 minutes out of the city and were very pleased with the zoo. I hope you enjoy our pics… they are far better than words. The kids took the liberty to go ahead and name the animals as we saw them. I have included the names underneath the pictures.
Braden and Kyndal at Zoo Negara.
We named these two Mom and Kindy.
This was Angie’s favorite. We named him, “The Ape with Dreadlocks.”
This here was Melman. Melman was kind enough to move over to the fence to allow me to snap his picture with the mountain in the background.
I think we forgot to name the camel in the background and I think we already named the other one.
Braden and Kyndal with a monkey in the middle.
Sleepy is his name. He stood up for a quick pic and then went back to sleep.
The elephant in the background is Peanut. He was very cooperative for the photo session.
This here is Peanut again. You can see only part of Cashew in the background.
Braden and the un-named camel. We took a picture that made it look like the camel was sitting on Braden’s head, but this one turned out much better.
Hope you enjoyed your photo tour of the National Zoo in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
PS – for those of you curious, we did not feel the shakes of the earthquake in Taiwan. We will be here a few more days and then will begin our journey home on the 30th.
