New York
We are sitting in the JFK airport waiting on our flight to Dallas. We have just learned that it will be delayed by an 1.5 hours. YUK! O-well we have gotten pretty good at waiting.
I decided to check my email and update the blog, so here is the latest….. We will stay the night tonight in Dallas, TX and then drive to Tulsa, OK tomorrow morning. Our kids are going to stay with some friends in Tulsa while Angie and I drive to Kansas City on the 20th. We will return to Tulsa on the 24th and remain there until July 5th. We have so many meetings already scheduled and I believe many more to come.
Here is a recap of our last few days. We began flying on Jun 15 at 2:30 A.M. and flew for 26 hours but landed at 6:00 P.M. on the 15th…. crazy huh? It was a good thing we landed at night as we were ready for sleep. We have spent the last 2 days getting over jet-lag and touring NYC. We took a bus tour and the ferry tour to Ellis Island. We all had a good time, but I think Kyndal is the only one who can wear an “I Heart New York” shirt and mean it. I thought everything was too expensive… I guess that comes from living in South Asia. I think Angie is ready to see family and friends and Braden was just along for the ride. Anyway, we are glad we saw some of the places like, The Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, The Empire State Building, Ground Zero, The Statue of Liberty, The Chrysler Building, Broadway, Times Square, and Rockefeller Plaza. We saw a lot more, but these were just a few. We did enjoy the visit, but we are ready to move on and see our friends. So just a few more days…
