Not Enough Time
Its sad, but our time here in Lubbock is drawing to a close. We leave here on Saturday to drive to San Angelo, TX to visit my parents. However, I thought it would be cool to journal about some of the cool things that have happened while we were with Angie’s parents here in Lubbock. This list is not prioritized, just listed as they came to me.
– We spent a lot of time with Nana, Papaw, Patrick, Amy, Caleb & Nate. We also went to a family reunion on Papaw’s side of the family and saw his family. – We saw Luke (Braden’s dog) – We played croquette in the backyard – We went to the ranch in Coleman, TX and went fishing – We went to church with Angie’s parents – I (Bobby) played golf at Lubbock Country Club – hadn’t hit a golf ball in about a year and half. My tee shots were so bad I had to use my five iron, but I did hit one about 240. – We met with some friends at Uncle David’s house – We played at Legacy Play Village – We went to Joy-land – We rode bicycles. All the cousins had their own bikes. Kyndal learned how to ride without training wheels. – We went for long walks. Amy is doing a 3-day (60 mile) walk for Breast Cancer. If you want to donate to her walk, click here. – We showed a lot of videos and pictures of our island friends – Made numerous trips to Wal-mart and Starbucks – Went swimming at the local swimming pool (twice) – Went to the Science Spectrum – We went to Texas Tech University – Angie saw a high school friend at Joy-land – We have been to eat at numerous places – I (Bobby) have gained a lot of weight, notice my list does not include running. I did run once (4 miles) I thought I was going to die. – We are getting our pictures taken tomorrow – yippee
Well I am sure we did a lot more, but that is all I can think of right now. We have had a blast. Enough for now!
