School Starting

Bobby mentioned tonight that the blog needed updating… he wasn't kidding was he?!? Sorry guys. We've been busy. And maybe a little lazy! But here's the latest: Our language school, Reach Learning Center, has been approved by the government and is scheduled to begin Sunday, August 2. We have a volunteer teacher due to arrive from the States July 27. Between now and the 2nd, we will be promoting the school all over our island. Next weekend will be dedicated to handing out promotional fliers in the ferry terminal which runs from our island to the main island. Then, on the weekend before we begin, we will have a grand opening at the school. We hope to get most of the registrations over the next two weekends. We are excited and ready to get busy teaching English! If this sounds like an adventure to you, we could use you in our school! School is going well for the two students in our family. Braden is now learning two foreign languages. He's pretty good at it too! But his favorite subject is still P.E. Kyndal and I are enjoying home school, but she's ready to get to grade 4, because she can go to the international school too. In fact, it looks like we will all be there next January, as I have been offered a job teaching English at the school. I think it will be fun for all of us.
