The Rooster

I had been asleep about 30 minutes when I hear my phone alarm go off. Angie was still awake returning some emails. We both began looking for the phone. I woke up and thought, “It must be 4:00 AM as that was the time my alarm was set for the previous day. I had some friends over to watch the Super Bowl and we had to get up real early to watch it. Anyway, when I realized it was not 4:00 AM, Angie was still up, and we found the phone hidden behind the bed, we knew it was a joke. Angie’s phone alarm had gone off about 5 minutes earlier as well.

Earlier that evening we were all in mine and Angie’s room trying to pull Kyndal’s second tooth. I guess this is one area where I am not very persistent as the tooth is still in her head. Well, while we were busy tugging on a tooth, Braden set our alarms on our phones to go off in the middle of the night. We thought it was funny, but we thought it would be even funnier to do it to him….. and record it. So that’s what I did. I got up, set the alarm for 12:15 AM, set it on the ”rooster sound“ and set it next to his head on his pillow. I put my video camera on night view and caught the whole thing. I laughed until I cried.

When he woke this morning, he didn’t remember a thing. I figured that would be the case as he often talks to me while he is sleeping and he never remembers it. He couldn’t believe it when I pulled out the video camera and saw the proof. If you are up for a good laugh, watch it yourself. I added subtitles so you could hear what everyone was saying. The ceiling fan was kind of loud and messed up the sound a bit.

I also uploaded some new pics of the kids. We were testing out my new underwater camera housing with the digital camera. No leaks, but it fogged up. Gonna have to get something to stop that. I also was not in a very good place to take underwater pics. It was way too shallow and the water is cloudy because of all the sand. Take a look anyway.
