Thoughts from India

Well I am back from India. It was my first time to visit the country. The trip was successful as I was able to network with potential tourists and even brought a few clients back with me. I thought I would dedicate this blog entry to some of the thoughts I had while in India. Some of these thoughts were stated out loud and others I just popped into my mind… enjoy.

“What is that smell?” [More than once]

“They really should use the money spent on painting lines on the road and build more houses for the poor. They obviously dont need the lines.”

“I miss my family.”

“There is a cow in the road.”

“Seriously, what is that smell?”

“Do they really live in that?”

“Pizza Hut!!!”

“I wonder were I would live if I had been born here.”

“I wonder if I would have to send my child out to beg for money?”

“Do you think the horn honking does any good?”

“I think people honk because they know that nobody else is watching out for them.”

“Hey, another cow in the road.”

“Is this really a shortcut?”

“I don't remember going this way.”

“No! I am not [insert anything a street vendor sells], I don't care how real and genuine they are. I dont want them, please just leave me alone. No. I really dont want any. No. Ok, how much? Ok, here you go. Thanks.”

“Oh my gosh, that guy should really find a bathroom.”

“This weather is awesome.”

“I wish my family was here.”

“I don't think I will come back to India.”

“Yeah, I think I will come back to India.”

“Lord, I will put it down, if You will keep it down!”

“What's that brown stuff?”

“Gandhi, please quit chasing me. I really don't want my hair cut.” [From my dream during my first night there. He was chasing me with scissors in my dream.]
