Vacation Day 4
It was a cool night. I think the temperature was in the mid 40s. Im not complaining, although I did have to pull another blanket on top of me last night. We stayed in Eagle Nest RV Park. They have clean showers, bathrooms and a laundromat. The staff is very friendly. We have a great view of the lake and the mountains.
We ate lunch in Eagle’s Nest and then remembered why we bought all those groceries and planned to cook our own meals. It was a little bit pricey. We decided to spend the afternoon scouting out the area, looking for hiking trails, and biking trails. We drove through the mountains stopping periodically to take pictures.
We found a nice shady place and took some pics of the stream and the family.
When we got back to camp, we went on a short bike ride and threw the football and jumped rope. We don’t want Braden to forget how to catch… and besides… its just fun. I (Bobby) hold the jump rope record. Dinner was probably the best we have had the whole time. Angie cooked Fajitas. YUM!
We finished off the evening with a game of Scrutineyes. Dad and Kyndal won, but not before a playoff round. Braden and Angie put up a good fight.
