Where Are We?

I just became aware that our friends from the islands are reading our blog and now deal with the frustration my USA friends dealt with when I did not update on daily happenings. So, for all those who care… here you go…..

Becky updated you with our change of plans and the loss of our grandfather. What a blessing that we were about to be with family during this time. We are not really mourning hid death, but celebrating his life. We know he is in Heaven with God. He told my Dad just before he died, that he was ready to go. He was sure of where he was going and was eager to get there. Dont get me wrong, he held on as long as he could, but he said with his own mouth, “I’m ready.” What great words!

Well we spent the last few days with my family. This was a blessing. there is so much I could write about this, but I just dont have the time. I took Angie and the kids to Big Spring yesterday to meet her family. After lunch at Pizza Hut, we went to Wal-mart and bought Kyndal a bicycle. The grandparents wanted her to have one at their house. I drove back to San Angelo for the 4th of July and spent the night at my sister’s house. I loved playing with her little boys… o my goodness. I could just do that all day long. David, Becky’s husband helped me with some updates on my computer. I drove to Dallas today, and plan to catch a flight to Alabama tomorrow to attend Zach’s wedding. I will fly from Alabama on the 8th and meet up with my family in Lubbock. I’m in a hotel room just north of the airport.

Isn’t it funny that usually I am in a time zone 10 hours ahead trying to call back to the USA during working hours and now I am in the USA calling 10 hours ahead to the island only to discover the work week is over and its Friday. Ha ha, guess I will have to wait to quote the clients the price for the sea plane tour and fishing trip.

Guess I’d better go to bed now so I can get enough sleep and not miss my flight in the morning.
